Education courses
The project team will work with stakeholders and other educational providers (eg the universities and research providers involved the CRC for Premium Quality Wool including the woolwise material) to develop a range of educational products that add value to grower businesses.  The 1st module has already been developed and delivered to woolgrower groups across Tasmania. For more details on the first module, see details below on the profit driver workshop.

Pasture Solutions

Fibre Diameter Profile Project
Tasmania produces some of the finest and highest quality wool in the world. Yet many Tasmanian wool clips are affected by lines of low staple strength wool, this significantly reduces the overall value of the wool clip, up to 25%. This project aims to describe the problem of low staple strength in the Tasmanian clip and identify potential solutions that growers can implement. Samples are being gathered from farms across Tasmanian to better understand this problem.
